Petition for Mandatory Camera Installation in Parking Lots in Public Places

Yesterday (November 6, 2011) my boyfriend and I were attacked by two men in an orange dodge charger. They told us that we almost killed them because of changing lanes, as a matter of fact we didn’t even see anyone close to us (my boyfriend will not do anything stupid on the road especially if I am with him). They cornered us in a parking lot in Indian Trail and kept on hitting the car window on my boyfriend’s side provoking him to step outside and fight him. I could not call the police because I left my phone in the house and I my boyfriend’s phone was on his left pocket, I was also very preoccupied on calming my boyfriend down because the man’s son also stepped out of the car looking for a fight and continued hitting our vehicle (he left a big dent on the hood) we were both too shaken up after they left because they also tried to hit us. At this point we were completely shocked with what happened that our minds were just blank. I was afraid to get out ask for help thinking they might still be around or they might do something worse. I know we should have called the police but without any license plate number or any tags at all, we thought calling them was futile. I called the property manager on that certain area and asked if they have any hidden cameras at all but they didn’t have any. We were both traumatized with the experience that we could not even sleep after the incident happened. I know this might be a long shot, but I don’t want any future accidents or crimes to happen, a camera is always the best solution for any evidence that needs to be produced. A parking lot is also one of the places were most crimes happen and sadly no one can convict anyone because there are no physical evidence obtained.

The Sopranos: Made in America

I just finished watching my favorite t.v. show. Its the last episode of the 6th season, there’s alotta people out there asking questions about what really happened in the diner where the Soprano family ate to have dinner. Recap of the whole restaurant scene:

- tony walks into in to the diner
- looks for any sign of his wife Carmella, played by Eddie Falco (who happens to be Nurse Jackie)
- but no sign of her, so he looked for a table and sat down…kept on looking at the door every time it opens (at this part, i think he’s either anticipating for any of his family members, his paranoid because he knows he will be indicted, or worst - case scenario; he’ll be killed by one of the hit men from another crime family)
- he sees this mini jukebox on his table, looks for a song and finally chose “don’t stop believing” by journey ( which is symbolizing Tony Soprano’s hopes and dreams of not being indicted or killed).
- so Carmella finally came and sits down with Tony and told him that A.J. will be late and Meadow will be coming separately because she had to go to the doctor to switch birth control pills.
- while talking with Carmella and A.J. Tony could not help noticing the guy in the bar who kept looking at him from time to time.
- the scene goes to meadow having problems with the parking in front of the diner. then switches again to the three sopranos in the restaurant.
- A.J. ordered onion rings and they all ate.
- remember that guy in the bar? he went to the rest room and tony looks at him but made no effort to do something because he wasn’t a threat.
- the scene goes back to meadow again when she finally fixed her parking problems, and runs to the restaurant.
- when she’s there, the camera moves to focus at the whole building and the next thing you hear are gun shots (no one sees who gets shot and no one knows who was the shooter).

Everybody was frustrated because no one knows what really happened and why did David Chase just immediately put the scene to credits. So here’s what really happened; after my extensive research I found out that the person who got shot was Tony but his family did not get hurt. He got killed by another hit man from another crime family who he had an altercation with before. The whole restaurant, the picking of the songs, the waiting for all his family members, the gunshots that was heard, the sirens, and finally the fading to black scenes were all from Tony’s point of view. Since the last sensory perception that is the last to go when you die is your hearing, this explains the sirens he heard from the police cars that was on their way and the fading out to black was him dying.

So there you go! I love this t.v. show, its the best one out of all the so called pop culture hits they put on t.v. now! But there are some talks from David Chase that a feature film might be on the way…. I’d be the first one to watch that in the theater!!!!
